Itinerary

The Everest Base Camp 13 Days Trek Plan:
  • Day 01: Pick up from Kathmandu airport and trek preparations.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla & Trek to Phakding [2,610m/8561ft] - 4 hours walk
  • Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3,440m/11,283ft] - 6 hours walk
  • Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar – hike around
  • Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche [3,860m/12,661ft] - 5 hours walk
  • Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche [4,360m/14,301ft].
  • Day 07: Dingboche to Lobuche [4,940m/16,203ft] - 6 hours walk.
  • Day 08: Lobuche to Gorek Shep [5,181m/16,994ft] – Everest Base Camp [5,364m/17,594ft] - Gorek Shep - 7-8 hours.
  • Day: 09: Gorek Shep to Kala Patthar [5,545m/18,188ft] – Pheriche [4,280m].
  • Day 10: Pheriche to Namche [3,440m].
  • Day 11: Namche to Lukla [2,860m].
  • Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu on morning flight
  • Day 13: Final departure to your own destination.

Note: During peak Seson all the flights to Lukla will be operate from Ramechhap airport (5hours drive from Kathmandu )

For up to 6 people we will use a van such as a TOYOTA LANDCRUISER for smaller groups, we will use Mahindra BOLERO

    - Yes, the total distance is about 130 kilometers (round trip).

  • 6. Can beginners do this trek?

    - Yes, but proper preparation and fitness training are advised.

  • 7. Do you offer assistance in case of an emergency?

    - Yes, emergency plans are in place, including potential heli-evacuation (not included in the charges).

  • 8. Is the hardest part of the trek reaching Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar?

    - Yes, these are considered the hardest parts due to altitude and the physical challenge.

  • 9. Is the trek friendly for people who want to engage with local communities?

    - Yes, you will meet local people who are willing to share their culture and livelihood.

  • All hotel and airport transfers as per the itinerary.
  • Two nights' accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast.
  • Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu flight tickets for clients & guide.
  • Best available lodge and tea house accommodation during the trek.
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during the trek.
  • A well-experienced, English-speaking trekking leader.
  • All necessary national park fees, permits, and paperwork (Everest National Park permits and TIMS).

Not Included

  • Nepal Visa fees on airport arrival (bring accurate USD cash and two passport-size photos).
  • Personal expenses (shopping, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, hot water, tea, showers, Wi-Fi, phone calls, etc.).
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu (also applicable if returning early from the trek).
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu beyond the itinerary.
  • International airfare, arrival taxes, and departure taxes to/from Kathmandu.
  • Tips for guide and porter.
  • Rescue insurance .
